My passion for this work began with my own family history. Since 2015, I’ve returned multiple times to Puglia, where my great-grandmother was born, and even connected with distant relatives still living there. In 2023, I completed a full genealogy trip across Italy, visiting every town connected to my husband’s family. These deeply personal experiences give me unique insight into what it feels like to step into the past and bring it to life.
With over 15 years of genealogy research experience, I know how to trace names, records, and ancestral towns throughout Italy. And as a travel advisor, I understand how to transform that research into a seamless, meaningful travel experience for you and your family.
How It Works
Step 1 – Family History Form
You’ll start by filling out a short form with any details you know — names, dates, towns, or immigration stories.
Step 2 – Genealogy Research Fee
I charge a Genealogy Research Fee to review your Family History Form and conduct initial research into your Italian ancestry. This includes gathering records, verifying details, and identifying the most likely town(s) your family originated from. You’ll receive a summary of findings and any documents, along with recommendations for next steps.
Step 3 – Customized Heritage Trip
Based on what we uncover, I’ll create a tailor-made trip to Italy so you can visit your ancestral towns, churches, and cemeteries and explore regional culture, food, and history connected to your family.
